    Getting Started with Fastshot

    Fastshot is a no-code mobile app development platform that enables you to build native mobile applications simply by chatting with AI. Whether you're a founder, designer, or entrepreneur, Fastshot lets you create fully functional mobile apps without writing a single line of code.

    What Is Fastshot?

    Fastshot is designed for users who want to quickly turn app ideas into reality. By describing your app in natural language, Fastshot's AI automatically designs, builds, and prepares a working prototype in minutes.

    You can then preview, refine, and deploy your mobile app directly from your browser — all within the same platform.

    Step 1. Access the Fastshot Editor

    Visit fastshot.ai and open the Fastshot editor.

    In the chat editor, enter a detailed description of the mobile application you want to create. For best results, include:

    • Purpose: What your app is about
    • Target users: Who you are building it for
    • Problem statement: What challenge it solves
    • Core features: Minimum required functionality
    • Design goals: Desired look, layout, or user experience

    Once you've completed your prompt, click Send.

    Step 2. Sign Up or Log In

    If you are new to Fastshot, you will be prompted to sign up or log in. Your app description will be saved automatically.

    After registration, Fastshot confirms your application requirements. Once approved, the AI begins building the first version of your app.

    Step 3. AI App Generation

    Creating the initial version typically takes 5–7 minutes.

    When the build is complete, you'll be able to preview your app instantly. At this point, we recommend reviewing the first phase of your app.

    Important: Always test on a physical device instead of the web preview, as not all designs and mobile functionality are supported on web.

    After testing, you can either:

    • Follow up in the chat with adjustments to refine the current implementation
    • Ask the AI to continue with Phase 2 implementation

    Step 4. Preview Your App

    When your first version of the application is ready, you can preview it on the preview screen:

    • On computer, it will be on the right side of the chat
    • On mobile browser, the preview will be available on the top navigation bar

    You can also preview your application directly on your phone using the Expo Go mobile app. For that, scan the QR code on the screen next to the mobile preview or, if on mobile browser, click the "Open in Expo" button.

    Note: Some mobile-specific features, such as native date pickers or camera access, may not function in the browser preview. For full functionality, test your app using the Expo Go mobile app.

    Step 5. Refine and Iterate

    After reviewing the first version, you can:

    • Ask Fastshot to adjust app design or functionality directly through chat
    • Move forward with additional feature development

    Within a few refinement rounds, you'll have a production-ready mobile application built entirely through conversational prompts.

    Step 6. Deploy Your App

    When your app is ready, you can deploy it to the Apple App Store or Google Play. For detailed instructions, see the App Publishing section.
